I’m taking the What’s in a Name? Reading Challenge in 2009.
The challenge runs from January 1st to December 31st

Possibilities:

1. A book with a “profession” in its title- Unveiled: The Hidden Lives of Nuns
2. A book with a “time of day” in its title- One Sunday Morning
3. A book with a “relative” in its title – Uncle Montague’s Tales of Terror by Chris Priestly
4. A book with a “body part” in its title- Sweethearts by Sara Zarr
5. A book with a “building” in its title- The School for Dangerous Girls by Eliot Schrefer
6. A book with a “medical condition” in its title- Beautiful Boy: A Father’s Journey Through his Son’s Meth Addiction

I have a massive TBR pile consisting mainly of YA books. The YA Challenge should help me whittle my piles down a little.
I’ll be reading 12 YA books from January 1st to December 31st.

My (Tentative) List:

I decided to also take the Numbers Challenge in 2009.
I’ll be reading 5 books with numbers in their title between January 1st and August 1st.

In an effort to broaden my reading horizons a little bit more, I’ll be taking the Well Seasoned Reader Challenge in 2009.
The Challenge runs from January 1st to March 31st.

The challenge is to read three books that fit into the following criteria:

have a food name in the title
OR
be about cooking/eating
OR
have a place name in the title
OR
be about one (or more) person’s travel experience
OR
be about a specific culture
OR
be by an author whose ethnicity is other than your own
