Seriously? I Read That?

The Well Seasoned Reader Challenge

In an effort to broaden my reading horizons a little bit more, I’ll be taking the Well Seasoned Reader Challenge in 2009.
The Challenge runs from January 1st to March 31st.

The challenge is to read three books that fit into the following criteria:

have a food name in the title
OR
be about cooking/eating
OR
have a place name in the title
OR
be about one (or more) person’s travel experience
OR
be about a specific culture
OR
be by an author whose ethnicity is other than your own

My choices:
have a food name in the title- Can You Trust a Tomato in January? by Vince Staten
have a place name in the title- The Monsters of Templeton by Lauren Groff
be about one (or more) person’s travel experienceGirl at Sea by Maureen Johnson
